Serving people of African descent world-wide
The mission of the International Trends and Services facet is to expand the global platform for programs designed and developed to service the educational, health and cultural needs of people of African descent throughout the world. All programmatic components of the facet are delivered through a measurable delivery model with a commitment to empowerment, education for youth health initiatives and advocates for social justice locally and internationally..
The foremost goal of the International Trends and Services facet is to provide opportunities for tangible service in other countries. Our "boots on the ground" approach provides for more personalized methods for assisting and improving the lives of women, children and men worldwide through long-term programs committed to empowerment and public policy leadership in advocating for social justice.
Sanitary Pad Program
Since the inception of the Sanitary Pad Program in 2014, the Las Vegas Chapter has provided over 150 girls sanitary products to over a year to assist girls in the ability to attend school during their menstrual cycle.
Food Donations
The Las Vegas Chapter donated beans for students at Ker Boarding School.
Pen Pal Program
The Program partners with Grades 4, 5, and 6 at Rainbow Dreams Academy and students at Igamba and Emmanuel primary schools.
Eye Care Program
Dr. Kenneth Westfield and his medical team provide cataract surgeries and eye care to villagers in Kenya Township. The Las Vegas Chapter donates eyeglasses and money for eye care services in Kenya.
